The Bell Centre was nearly sold out for the headliners, supporting their “Maiden England” tour, the legendary Iron Maiden. Everywhere we looked, there were Maiden and Eddie shirts, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. We were rabid for Maiden, and they didn’t let us down.

Bruce Dickinson was in remarkable shape, and led the band in kicking our asses all night long. The entire band fed off of our energy, and gave all they had to give in return. Of course, it’s not an Iron Maiden show without Eddie, and he was ever-present; stalking the stage at will.

The set began with “Doctor, Doctor” and ran through all of the classics like “The Prisoner”, “The Number Of The Beast”, “Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son”, and finished with an incredible performance of “Running Free”. This was an amazing show that we all needed a few days to recover from. Huge thanks to Iron Maiden for kicking our asses once again.
