English rockers Keane made a stop in Toronto for their Strangeland 2012 tour after taking quite the hiatus from making music.  Their last album Perfect Symmetry was released back in 2008 so it has been about four years between albums and tours.  Keane came to popularity in the early 2000s, with their hit single Somewhere Only We Know, climbed the UK and US charts and their debut album received good reviews.  Q Magazine named Perfect Symmetry as the best album of the year in 2008.  Their follow-up retains the pop-rock simplicity of Perfect Symmetry and was just released early May of this year.  There was a touching moment when Tom Chaplin stopped to give his condolences and to honor drum tech Scott Johnson, who for many years had worked with Keane as their drum tech.  Scott Johnson tragically passed away instantly from injuries incurred when the stage collapsed at the Downsview Park Radiohead concert Saturday afternoon.
