Fresh off of a highly successful Quebec tour with David Usher, Montreal based singer-songwriter Colin Moore hit the road again last night in Chicoutimi with of Toronto’s own Cavaliers! His tour will go all the way out east to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI before coming back to Quebec and ending in Montreal on November 21st.
Colin Moore will be on the road in support of his debut record entitled Leaving Home, which was produced by Ryan Battistuzzi (We Are Wolves, Malajube) and will be released in early 2010 on Indica Records/Fontana/Universal.
Following his debut showcase at Canadian Music Week in March 2008, Moore has gone on to play a variety of festivals, including the Quebec city summer festival and opening on sold-out shows for Joseph Arthur. Colin also recently signed his first licensing deal, placing his song “Friends of Mine” in the television series Family Biz, which airs in both Canada and France.
This young artist has been touring non-stop, initially for a 20 day U.S. tour in March 2009 that took him all the way down to Austin, Texas to play South By South West where he was chosen by Neil Dixon (Canadian Music Week) to perform at the CMW showcase during the fest. Colin Moore now continues his relentless touring schedule, heading out on this upcoming tour with Cavaliers! in eastern Canada, thus reaffirming his status as an up and coming artist to look out for in 2010.
