After two years with the ”Get your Sting and Blackout World Tour ”, where the Scorpions played a 150 sold out concerts in 25 countries, the legendary band from Germany will rock the fans in the US and Canada with a final sting.
Lead singer Klaus Meine: “ The incredible success of our Farewell Tour is the high octane fuel driving the upcoming “Final Sting Tour 2012“ around the globe one last time .” During their 40 years career the Scorpions sold over a 100 million albums and received many awards, such as the “World Music Award” and several ”Echos”, the German Grammy. Their song “Wind of Change“ has become an anthem for the end of the cold war and the fall of the Berlin Wall. Scorpions founder Rudolf Schenker: “We’re currently surfing on a wave of euphoria triggered by our fans at every concert wherever we play.” With Sting in the Tail being one of their most successful albums since Crazy World, the Scorpions decided to finish their extraordinary career on a high note.
