BATTLE OF THE BANDS – HEAVY MTL
Very interesting night. With 2 unknown bands to me and Wow! What a good performance I have seen! First of all if you don’t know the name: Chainsaw Armageddon. Go to their myspace and listen to them right now! If you like metalcore grind or just metal you’re going to like the new djent “style” of Chainsaw Armageddon.
Spelldown was the second band of the night. It was the first time for me to see these guys live and they are just freaking awesome. Since 1996, Spelldown continue their progress. With pure talent musicians from the band Anonymus, with Oscar Souto ( bass ) and Carlos Araya ( drum ). But don’t forget Luc Gigère! He totally blew my mind with his scream! Nothing special to say about Alex Duhamel and Marco Paradis. They are as awesome as the others! Very great band.
What can I say about Dark Century … Great band, great talent, second unknown band for my part and i’m very surprised about their performance. Very powerful and they just simply kickass. You need to check them out on myspace for sure.
