TAKING BACK SUNDAY WITH THURSDAY AT THE HOUSE OF BLUES IN CLEVELAND
The crowd in front of the stage for Taking Back Sunday at the House of Blues in Cleveland on Saturday night had the feel of Warped Tour graduates, reunited for an evening of youthful screaming and thrashing. Opening act Thursday got the audience jumping and screaming, revved up for the headliner.
Taking Back Sunday singer Adam Lazzara posed, strutted and danced his way through the band’s set, sporting an ankle brace labeled “OWIE!” The set list included their biggest hits, including MakeDamnSure, Liar (It Takes One to Know One), Error Operator, What’s It Feel Like to Be a Ghost and Cute Without the ‘E’ (Cut From the Team).
They will play a few more U.S. dates this month before heading overseas for some European dates, including performances at the Reading & Leeds Festival in the U.K.
