There was a deafening roar from the crowd when NOFX broke into The Decline, a tune which they rarely play live these days. “We play it once in every city” said lead singer Fat Mike, as they finished the song that clocks in at just over eighteen minutes long.

The opening acts, Over the Top and the Idlers were chosen by NOFX themselves after lengthy debates and suggestions over who would open for the legendary punk band, erupted on the events Facebook page. Although both bands have distinctly different sounds, Over the Top with their Hardcore/pop punk sound and the Idlers with their fun ska/reggae tones – their placement on this show was a well made decision. Over the Top and the Idlers both received “Best of” in their categories at the 2010 Best of Local St. John’s Scope Awards.
