LINKIN PARK MAKE ”A THOUSAND SUNS” TOUR STOP IN HOUSTON

A homemade sign hanging off the Toyota Center stage said it all,
“Linkin Park – Thank you for rescheduling.”

Lead singer Chester Bennington had been under doctor’s care as the band was forced to cancel multiple tour dates this past February…and Houston was one of them.

BUT, there was absolutely no sign of illness and it was obvious Bennington had fully recovered. He and band mates Mike Shinoda (vocals, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist), Brad Delson (guitarist), Dave “Phoenix” Farrell (bassist), Rob Bourdon (drummer), and Joe Hahn (turntables, DJ ) had high energy and the crowd was ready for them!

The lighting effects, the cool drum kit and of course the music… Linkin Park owned the stage.

You would think that after 18 songs in their regular set, the band and the audience would show some signs of slowing down, but I didn’t see it. Houston loves Linkin Park! The seats were filled up to the rafters even though no one was actually sitting in them after the first 3 songs…

And at the end of the night, Linkin Park treated us to a 6 song encore. Needless to say, we left very, very happy.

Now, Linkin Park is heading out on an international tour. They are active on their website and on Facebook. Check them out!
