FINGER ELEVEN WERE FIERCER THAN EVER IN DETROIT
Finger Eleven put on a performance that was fiercer than ever at Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit on January 21. This band rocked the house to a packed crowd on a bitterly cold night. They played an extensive set list, hitting on all of the fan favorites.
They opened with “Any Moment Now,” from their latest album, 2010’s Life Turns Electric. The crowd loved it when they heard the single “Living in a Dream,” but the show really kicked into high gear when the band played one of their biggest hits, “One Thing.” The near capacity crowd passionately (and somewhat drunkenly) sang along. By the time they hit the last song, their smash hit “Paralyzer,” the audience was a frenzied jumping party.
Finger Eleven’s fantastic performance combined with opening act Hail the Villain’s unbridled set made it a great night, not just for Saint Andrews Hall, but for the continued life of everyday rock and roll music.
