I arrived to the venue while “Death Before Dishonor” was playing. The event had just started and it was getting pretty packed! “This Is Hell” was up next and as soon as the first note was hit the crowed went crazy. The kids knew their songs by heart as they sang along through out their set.

War of Ages” were a lot more metal than the previous bands but still, the fans kept on cheering on and enjoying their heavy riffs.

The next band up was “The Ghost Inside“. They had a great set lit planned for the night. For their last song, they covered “Am/Pm” from the band “American Nightmare”: it really really pumped up the crowed! Everybody gathered along as the singer was up with the crowd and everyone was singing along..

Trapped Under Ice” got everybody pumped up for the bigger bands of the remainder of the evening with their fast riff songs and not to mention the singer running around jumping and stomping his feet as the cord from the microphone was getting tangled by the stage floor speakers.

L.A. hardcore kings, “Terror“, were next. The name speaks for itself: every time you will see these guys you will get chills and get pumped up just like everyone else at the shows. These “underdogs” made the show an insane one! They opened up with their newest songs. After their 3rd song the singer asked House Of Blues security if they can leave because he always wants people to “pack it in” and of course to do stage dives. As soon as people got the ok to do so, everybody was getting up on stage and jumping the gap between the security pit and the front crowd. At this point is was too dangerous for myself to be in the photo pit so I hopped on stage right and started snapping photos away and sharing a mic with a guitarist for their last song.

East Coast hardcore legends “Madball” were up next: everyone felt honored to be their to see that band. Singer, Freddy, writes songs about respect and family which meant a lot to everyone. They had a good and long set list which is always a plus.

Bane” did their sound check and right away started wasting no time, as everyone chanted along as the singer gave out the mic to the crowd. At this point everybody in the venue was tired and hot: good thing the bar gave out free water, especially for an event like this!

The next band was the headlining band: “Poison The Well“. They were very excited to headline the “10 for $10 tour” here at the House Of Blues in Los Angeles. Even though everybody was tired, they still gave out their 100% to support the final band.
